OK, why should you buy the book? 

Hmmmmm...It's all about you, isn't it????

And what do we know about a STAFF INFECTION, anyway? 

Buying the book.... not buying the book....  Well, you're right.  It IS about you.  You're the reason we wrote the book. 

Resources are constantly shrinking - or just plain disappear.   And no one in senior management seems to stay around long enough to fix it.  The problems are the same everywhere. 

And wherever you go, people are there.

And just so you know, a management book doesn't have to be a fable (or overly earnest or boring) to be useful.

But first, a word (OK, a few words) about us.

The bottom line?  We've been there.  And we've been responsible for it.  We've lived out of suitcases and fought the madness; between us, we've got over NINETY YEARS of management experience.... from the public sector to public offerings....from wellness to widgets.... AND wherever we've gone, those pesky management problems have always managed to find us! 

....and the STAFF INFECTION is rampant! 

These  deadly strains infect "people people" and NON-"people people" alike.  We're all at risk.  And one of the biggest factors is exposing yourself.

OOPS.  We meant to say 'exposing yourself to a STAFF INFECTION' day after <sniff> day.

Our job?  To offer you prophylaxis.  (That's protection from infection.)  No one wants a STAFF INFECTION.  They're catchy and often can't be cured - at least without a pink slip.

But we're all either recovering, cured, or immune.  And now we're here to inoculate Y-O-U!  The antidote is humor.... Prevention?  Common sense.

We'll let you in on another secret, too.  We know that there are many more hard workers than 'twirling girls' in the workplace and that everyone does the best they can at any given moment. 

Some workplace issues are serious.  Some are just plain hilarious.  Our goal?  To help you get to your managing best.  Wisdom is preventive medicine, laughter is the daily vitamin.
